As a photographer, loving and serving my couples, their friends, and their families are important to me. When I photograph the rehearsal dinner, I gain the wonderful opportunity to meet your family and closest friends beforehand. This initial connection is invaluable; it allows me to understand the dynamics and relationships that are integral to your story. By the time your wedding day arrives, I am not just a stranger with a camera - I am already woven into the fabric of your celebration. I can greet everyone with warmth and familiarity, making the atmosphere feel even more intimate.

We’ll be walking, running, exploring, and embracing playfulness and joy. I’ll guide you with prompts, all while creating a space for candid and natural moments to unfold. Drawing inspiration from films, my images have a heightened romance and cinematic flair, warmth, grain and motion.

An engagement session is a wonderful way for us to get to know each other and for you to feel at ease in front of the camera. It’s a chance to capture your love story while you explore my style, giving you a sense of what it’ll be like to work together on your wedding day. I highly recommend it!

While I’m confident in my ability to shoot weddings solo, having a second photographer is recommended when couples are getting ready in different places. If the timeline doesn’t allow me to be with both of you, a second photographer can step in to capture those moments. They also provide different angles and perspectives, capturing all the joy and love from multiple viewpoints. We can talk about this option more on our consultation call.

Wear whatever makes you feel most comfortable and true to yourself! Whether you lean towards earth tones and neutrals or prefer an eclectic and funky style, it’s all about expressing who you are. Keep in mind that our sessions will involve a lot of movement - running, playing, and plenty of close contact (hello, PDA!). So as you plan, consider outfits that allow for all that fun and spontaneity!
